The Halifax County Comets baseball squad (South Boston, VA), was overwhelmed 7-1 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the visiting Liberty Christian Bulldogs (Lynchburg, VA)

With the triumph, Liberty Christian moves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Amherst County (Amherst, VA) to confront the Lancers in a Seminole contest on Friday, March 28. The Lancers come into the contest with a record of 3-1. Amherst County won 10-0 in their recent non-league contest against Nelson County (Lovingston, VA)

The Comets now possess a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Franklin County for a non-league contest on Friday, March 28. Halifax County will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 18-8 non-league win over Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy (Moneta, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-0.
