Florida High School Baseball - IMG Academy edges Hewitt-Trussville

In Tuesday's non-league game, the host IMG Academy Ascenders baseball team scored a close 5-2 win over the Hewitt-Trussville Huskies.

The Ascenders (15-1) will now prepare for their game against Western (Davie, FL). The Wildcats go into the non-league game with a 7-10 record. In their last game, Western by Hewitt-Trussville (Trussville, AL), 7-5, in a non-league game.

Next, the Huskies play the St. Laurence Vikings (Burbank, IL) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, March 26. Hewitt-Trussville will attempt to improve on its 21-1 season record. The Vikings go into the game with a 4-1 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Doral Academy (Doral, FL).
