March 25, 2025: Tucson, AZ 85711 Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Mica Mountain Thunderbolts (Tucson, AZ) and the host Rincon/University Rangers (Tucson, AZ), observed Mica Mountain's volleyball team hold off Rincon/University by a tally of 2-1.
The Thunderbolts (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Ironwood Ridge (Tucson, AZ). The Nighthawks enter the contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Ironwood Ridge was tipped by Eastmark (Mesa, AZ), 2-1, in a non-league bout.
With the loss, Rincon/University drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Rangers host Sunnyside (Tucson, AZ) to clash with the Blue Devils in a bout on Tuesday, April 15. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a record of 0-2.
