The Collegiate Cougars lacrosse squad scored 17 points and limited the visiting The Covenant Eagles to 8 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cougars now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Paul VI for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 28. Collegiate will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 13-12 non-league win over New Trier (Winnetka, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 2-5.

With the loss, The Covenant falls to 3-1 on the year. The Eagles travel to Virginia Episcopal School (Lynchburg, VA) to clash with the Bishops in a VISAA Division 2 challenge on Thursday, March 27. The Bishops go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
