March 25, 2025: Springfield, GA 31329 The Effingham County Rebels (Springfield, GA) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Savannah Christian Raiders (Savannah, GA), 10-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Rebels now hold a 4-8 record. They play next when they host Greenbrier for a 5A Region 1 challenge on Friday, March 28. Effingham County will encounter a Wolfpack squad coming off a 7-0 league win over Evans (Evans, GA). The Wolfpack record now stands at 9-2.
With the loss, Savannah Christian moves to 1-8 on the year. The Raiders host Woodville-Tompkins (Savannah, GA) to encounter the Wolverines in a 1A D-I Region 3 challenge on Friday, March 28. The Wolverines go into the challenge with a record of 9-3. Woodville-Tompkins lost 2-1 in their recent league challenge against Toombs County (Lyons, GA)
