March 25, 2025: Woodside, DE 19980 St. Mark's Spartans (Wilmington, DE) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Polytech Panthers (Woodside, DE), 5-2 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, St. Mark's moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Spartans host Newark (Newark, DE) to meet the Yellowjackets in a non-league test on Thursday, March 27. The Yellowjackets come into the test with a record of 1-1. Newark lost 6-0 in their recent league test against St. Georges Tech (Middletown, DE)
The Panthers now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Delmar for a non-league test on Thursday, March 27. Polytech will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Dover (Dover, DE). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-0.
