Virginia High School Softball - William Monroe drops to Goochland
March 25, 2025: Goochland, VA 23063 Goochland Bulldogs (Goochland, VA) supporters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting William Monroe Dragons (Stanardsville, VA), 21-3 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Goochland improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Bulldogs host Monticello (Charlottesville, VA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 8. The Mustangs enter the game with a record of 1-0. Monticello won 27-0 in their recent non-league game against James River Midlothian (Midlothian, VA)
The Dragons now hold a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Culpeper County for a non-league game on Thursday, March 27. William Monroe will play a Blue Devils squad coming off a 20-8 non-league loss to Eastern View (Culpeper, VA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-1.
