Pennsylvania High School Lacrosse - Episcopal Academy overwhelms Shady Side Academy
March 25, 2025: Newtown Square, PA 19066 The Episcopal Academy Churchmen (Newtown Square, PA) lacrosse routed the visiting Shady Side Academy Bulldogs (Pittsburgh, PA), 14-5 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
The Churchmen now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lawrenceville School for a non-league outing on Saturday, March 29. Episcopal Academy will face a Big Red squad coming off a 22-7 non-league win over Academy of the New Church (Bryn Athyn, PA). The Big Red record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Shady Side Academy falls to 0-1 on the year. The Bulldogs host Butler (Butler, PA) to face the Golden Tornado in a WPIAL 3A 2 outing on Friday, March 28. The Golden Tornado go into the outing with a record of 3-1. Butler won 13-8 in their recent non-league outing against McDowell (Erie, PA)
