Texas High School Softball - Marble Falls bounces Elgin
March 25, 2025: Elgin, TX 78621 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Marble Falls Mustangs (Marble Falls, TX) and the host Elgin Wildcats (Elgin, TX), observed Marble Falls's softball team notch a victory over Elgin by a final score of 11-3.
The Mustangs (10-10) will now prepare for their bout against Taylor (Taylor, TX). The Ducks go into the 4A Region III District 24 bout with a 5-12 record. In their last bout, Taylor was routed by Gateway College Preparatory (Georgetown, TX), 9-1, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Hendrickson Hawks (Pflugerville, TX) in a 5A Region III District 23 bout, on Friday, March 28. Elgin will attempt to better on its 8-13 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 10-7 record after their 9-7 league loss to East View (Georgetown, TX).
