Alabama High School Baseball - Maplesville loses to UMS-Wright Prep
March 25, 2026: Mobile, AL 36607 The UMS-Wright Prep Bulldogs triumphed over the visiting Maplesville Red Devils baseball team by a margin of 10-2 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs now hold a 14-6 record. They take the field next when they host Orange Beach for a non-league test on Friday, March 27. UMS-Wright Prep will play a Makos team coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Corner (Warrior, AL). The Makos record now stands at 8-9.
With the defeat, Maplesville drops to 10-8 on the year. The Red devils travel to Thorsby (Thorsby, AL) to battle the Rebels in a non-league outing on Monday, March 30. The Rebels come into the outing with a record of 12-7. Thorsby lost 8-2 in their recent non-league outing against Fairhope (Fairhope, AL)
