The Interlake Saints softball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Renton Redhawks to 1 in the Saints non-league win on Wednesday.

The Saints now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vashon Island for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 28. Interlake will encounter a Pirates team coming off a 22-2 non-league loss to Eatonville (Eatonville, WA). The Pirates record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Renton drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Redhawks host Foster (Tukwila, WA) to meet the Bulldogs in a 2A KingCo test on Friday, March 27. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 1-4. Foster lost 20-5 in their recent league test against Highline (Burien, WA)
