Taft Wildcats (Taft, CA) supporters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting North Stars (Bakersfield, CA), 14-4 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Taft improves its record to 11-2 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Redwood (Visalia, CA) to face the Rangers in a non-league game on Friday, March 27. The Rangers enter the game with a record of 6-6. Redwood won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Stockdale (Bakersfield, CA)

In their next game, the Stars battle the Arvin Bears (Arvin, CA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, April 7. North will attempt to better on its 10-6 season record. The Bears go into the match with a 2-6 record after their 16-14 non-league loss to Independence (Bakersfield, CA).
