March 26, 2022: New Orleans, LA 70113 The West Jefferson Buccaneers baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Booker T. Washington Lions to 0 in the Buccaneers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Buccaneers (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Riverdale (Jefferson, LA). The Rebels go into the 5A District 8 match with a 5-1 record. In their last match, Riverdale edged Metairie Park Country Day (Metairie, LA), 6-2, in a non-league match.
The Lions (1-1) will now prepare for their match against New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy (New Orleans, LA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league match with a 4-7 record. In their last match, New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy was overwhelmed by Benjamin Franklin (New Orleans, LA), 13-3, in a non-league match.
