March 26, 2022: Palos Heights, IL 60463 The Shepard Astros volleyball team (Palos Heights, IL), was dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Elk Grove Grenadiers (Elk Grove Village, IL)
The Grenadiers (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL). The Hawks go into the non-league bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Hoffman Estates was outscored by Streamwood (Streamwood, IL), 2-0, in a non-league bout.
The Astros now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Andrew for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 29. Shepard will play a Thunderbolts squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Richards (Oak Lawn, IL). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 2-3.
