California High School Volleyball - Morro Bay edged by Fresno
March 26, 2022: Morro Bay, CA 93442 The Fresno Warriors held off the host Morro Bay Pirates volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Warriors now have a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Reedley for a North Yosemite test on Tuesday, March 29. Fresno will battle a Pirates squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to St. Joseph (Santa Maria, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 15-6.
With the loss, Morro Bay moves to 8-12 on the year. The Pirates travel to Golden Valley (Merced, CA) to battle the Cougars in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 26. The Cougars go into the contest with a record of 4-4. Golden Valley lost 3-1 in their recent league contest against El Capitan (Merced, CA)
