Alabama High School Softball - Austin bounces Highland Home
March 26, 2022: Highland Home, AL 36041 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Austin Black Bears (Decatur, AL) and the host Highland Home Flying Squadron (Highland Home, AL), witnessed Austin's softball squad tip Highland Home by a count of 10-3.
The Black Bears now sport a 22-4 record. They play next when they travel to Montgomery Catholic for a non-league match on Saturday, March 26. Austin will meet a Knights squad coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Central (Phenix City, AL). The Knights record now stands at 10-8.
With the loss, Highland Home moves to 1-10 on the season. The Flying squadron travel to Straughn (Andalusia, AL) to meet the Tigers in a non-league match on Monday, April 4. The Tigers go into the match with a record of 0-6. Straughn lost 8-2 in their recent non-league match against Pike County (Brundidge, AL)
