March 26, 2024: Forreston, IL 61030 The Andrew Thunderbolts crushed the host Forreston Cardinals baseball team by a count of 11-1 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Thunderbolts now possess a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Johnsburg for a non-league bout on Wednesday, March 27. Andrew will face a Skyhawks team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Geneva (Geneva, IL). The Skyhawks record now stands at 0-5.
Next, the Cardinals face the Amboy Clippers (Amboy, IL) in a Northwest Upstate Illini - East bout, on Tuesday, April 2. Forreston will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Clippers enter the bout with a 3-4 record after their 11-0 non-league win over West Carroll (Savanna, IL).
