The Bearcats now hold a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vernon for a 3A Region I District 7 outing on Tuesday, March 26. Henrietta will confront a Lions team coming off a 11-3 non-league loss to Graham (Graham, TX). The Lions record now stands at 5-8.
Next, the Tigers confront the Mineola Yellowjackets (Mineola, TX) in a 3A Region II District 13 outing, on Friday, April 5. Mount Vernon will attempt to advance on its 13-19 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the outing with a 7-11 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Como-Pickton (Como, TX).
