The Pike Red Devils baseball team (Indianapolis, IN), was overwhelmed 8-2 in Tuesday's non-league outing with the host Martinsville Artesians (Martinsville, IN)

The Artesians now hold a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Mooresville for a Mid-State test on Tuesday, April 2.

With the defeat, Pike falls to 0-1 on the season. The Red devils host Decatur Central (Indianapolis, IN) to battle the Hawks in a non-league test on Friday, March 29. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 1-0. Decatur Central won 10-9 in their recent non-league test against North Central (Indianapolis, IN)
