Georgia High School Soccer - Johnson knocks off Walnut Grove
March 26, 2024: Walnut Grove, GA 30052 Johnson Knights (Gainesville, GA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Walnut Grove Warriors (Walnut Grove, GA), 6-2 in a league challenge.
Next, the Knights confront the East Hall Vikings (Gainesville, GA) in a 4A Area 8 challenge, on Friday, March 29. Johnson will attempt to better on its 10-1 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 1-0 league loss to Cherokee Bluff (Flowery Branch, GA).
The Warriors now have a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they host Seckinger for a 4A Area 8 challenge on Thursday, March 28. Walnut Grove will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 3-0 league win over Madison County (Danielsville, GA). The Jaguars record now stands at 6-5.
