Arkansas High School Softball - Wynne gets by Brookland
March 26, 2024: Wynne, AR 72396 Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Wynne Yellowjackets (Wynne, AR) and the visiting Brookland Bearcats (Brookland, AR), witnessed Wynne's softball squad tip Brookland by a count of 3-2.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Highland for a 4A Region 3 match on Thursday, March 28. Wynne will meet a Rebels squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Westside (Jonesboro, AR). The Rebels record now stands at 1-4.
With the loss, Brookland moves to 8-5 on the season. The Bearcats host Riverside (Lake City, AR) to meet the Rebels in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 26. The Rebels go into the match with a record of 8-0.
