March 26, 2024: Strawn, TX 76475 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the De Leon Bearcats (De Leon, TX) softball team overwhelmed the host Strawn Greyhounds (Strawn, TX), by a margin of 14-3.
With the triumph, De Leon moves its record to 2-2 on the year. The Bearcats travel to Tolar (Tolar, TX) to play the Rattlers in a 2A Region II District 11 contest on Thursday, March 28. The Rattlers come into the contest with a record of 10-6. Tolar lost 11-5 in their recent non-league contest against Jacksboro (Jacksboro, TX)
In their next game, the Greyhounds play the Huckabay Indians (Stephenville, TX) in a 1A Region II District 11 contest, on Friday, April 5. Strawn will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record.
