Texas High School Softball - Haskell bounces Hermleigh
March 26, 2024: Haskell, TX 79521 Haskell Indians (Haskell, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Hermleigh Cardinals (Hermleigh, TX), 12-7 in a non-league challenge.
The Indians now own a 12-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Stamford for a 2A Region I District 7 challenge on Thursday, March 28. Haskell will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 8-6 league win over Hawley (Hawley, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-4.
With the loss, Hermleigh falls to 8-6 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Graford (Graford, TX) to face the Rabbits in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 29. The Rabbits enter the challenge with a record of 12-0. Graford won 21-0 in their recent league challenge against Perrin-Whitt (Perrin, TX)
