Georgia High School Baseball - Calhoun prevails Model
March 26, 2025: Calhoun, GA 30701 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Calhoun Yellow Jackets (Calhoun, GA) and the visiting Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA), saw Calhoun's baseball team gain a win over Model by a tally of 10-1.
The Yellow Jackets (10-10) will now prepare for their battle against Coahulla Creek (Dalton, GA). The Colts enter the non-league battle with a 4-11 record. In their last battle, Coahulla Creek was overwhelmed by North Cobb Christian (Kennesaw, GA), 13-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Blue Devils face the Pepperell Dragons (Lindale, GA) in a A D1 Region 6 battle, on Tuesday, April 1. Model will attempt to upgrade on its 20-1 season record. The Dragons enter the battle with a 16-5 record after their 13-1 league win over Heard County (Franklin, GA).
