Alabama High School Baseball - Keith loses to Southside
March 26, 2025: Selma, AL 36701 In Wednesday's non-league bout, the Southside Panthers (Selma, AL) baseball team the visiting Keith Bears (Orrville, AL), by a margin of 9-6.
The Panthers now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Blackman for a non-league test on Thursday, March 27. Southside will play a Blaze team coming off a 7-3 non-league win over Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL). The Blaze record now stands at 14-1.
With the defeat, Keith drops to 2-1 on the year. The Bears travel to University Charter (Livingston, AL) to play the Trail Blazers in a 1A Area 5 test on Monday, March 31. The Trail Blazers go into the test with a record of 9-8. University Charter won 14-3 in their recent non-league test against Clarke County (Grove Hill, AL)
