The Leonardtown Raiders baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Northern Patriots to 3 in the Raiders league win on Wednesday.

The Raiders now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lackey for a Southern Maryland test on Friday, March 28. Leonardtown will clash with a Chargers team coming off a 14-8 league win over St. Charles (Waldorf, MD). The Chargers record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, Northern drops to 2-3 on the year. The Patriots travel to Thomas Stone (Waldorf, MD) to clash with the Cougars in a Southern Maryland test on Thursday, March 27. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 0-0.
