Virginia High School Baseball - Patrick Henry loses to Matoaca
March 26, 2025: Ashland, VA 23005 Matoaca Warriors (Chesterfield, VA) fans left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Patrick Henry Patriots (Ashland, VA), 11-0 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Matoaca advances its record to 1-3 on the season. The Warriors host Dinwiddie (Dinwiddie, VA) to battle the Generals in a Central match on Thursday, March 27. The Generals come into the match with a record of 1-0. Dinwiddie won 6-2 in their recent non-league match against Highland Springs (Highland Springs, VA)
The Patriots now have a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Monacan for a non-league match on Tuesday, April 8. Patrick Henry will battle a Chiefs squad coming off a 8-6 league loss to Midlothian (Midlothian, VA). The Chiefs record now stands at 1-1.
