The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC) and the host Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC), saw West Rowan's baseball team beat Mount Pleasant by a margin of 11-7.

The Falcons (11-3) will now prepare for their battle against South Rowan (China Grove, NC). The Raiders enter the South Piedmont 3A battle with a 8-5 record. In their last battle, South Rowan was overwhelmed by Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC), 5-3, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Tigers face the South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls (Norwood, NC) in a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A battle, on Friday, March 28. Mount Pleasant will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Rowdy Rebel Bulls enter the battle with a 11-1 record after their 7-3 non-league win over Charlotte Stampede (Charlotte, NC).
