The Matanzas Pirates lacrosse squad scored 19 points and limited the visiting St. Joseph Academy Flashes to 8 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Pirates now own a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gainesville for a non-league outing on Tuesday, April 1.

With the loss, St. Joseph Academy falls to 2-7 on the year. The Flashes host Newberry (Newberry, FL) to face the Panthers in a non-league outing on Tuesday, April 1.
