North Davidson Black Knights (Lexington, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the host Wilkes Central Eagles (Wilkesboro, NC), 5-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, North Davidson advances its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Black Knights travel to Montgomery Central (Troy, NC) to clash with the Timberwolves in a Mid-Piedmont 3A test on Monday, March 31. The Timberwolves come into the test with a record of 7-4. Montgomery Central lost 5-1 in their recent non-league test against Southern Lee (Sanford, NC)

The Eagles now have a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host East Surry for a Foothills 2A test on Thursday, March 27. Wilkes Central will clash with a Cardinals team coming off a 2-1 league win over North Surry (Mount Airy, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 7-0.
