El Capitan Vaqueros (Lakeside, CA) followers left the game satisfied Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting University City Centurions (San Diego, CA), 11-9 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, El Capitan moves its record to 6-2 on the season. The Vaqueros travel to Cathedral Catholic (San Diego, CA) to confront the Dons in a non-league match on Thursday, March 27. The Dons come into the match with a record of 2-1. Cathedral Catholic lost 14-7 in their recent non-league match against Del Norte (San Diego, CA)

The Centurions now possess a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Diego for a non-league match on Saturday, March 29. University City will confront a Cavers squad coming off a 10-1 non-league win over Mount Miguel (Spring Valley, CA). The Cavers record now stands at 3-3.
