Virginia High School Lacrosse - West Potomac overwhelms Bishop Ireton
March 26, 2025: Alexandria, VA 22314 The West Potomac Wolverines (Alexandria, VA) lacrosse routed the host Bishop Ireton Cardinals (Alexandria, VA), 17-6 in Wednesday's non-league outing.
The Wolverines now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host South County for a Patriot outing on Friday, March 28. West Potomac will face a Stallions squad coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Centreville (Clifton, VA). The Stallions record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Bishop Ireton falls to 2-4 on the year. The Cardinals host Paul VI (Chantilly, VA) to face the Panthers in a Washington Catholic outing on Saturday, March 29. The Panthers go into the outing with a record of 4-2. Paul VI lost 9-7 in their recent league outing against Episcopal (Alexandria, VA)
