In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting East Lawrence Eagles softball team scored a tight 3-1 win over the Chelsea Hornets.

The Eagles (6-15) will now prepare for their match against Colbert County (Leighton, AL). The Indians come into the non-league match with a 7-8 record. In their last match, Colbert County by James Clemens (Madison, AL), 2-0, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Hornets battle the Leeds Greenwave (Leeds, AL) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, April 1. Chelsea will attempt to better on its 19-10 season record.
