In Thursday's non-league game, the host West Point Dragons baseball team scored a close 5-3 win over the Eagle Point Eagles.

The Dragons (8-4) will now prepare for their game against Shadow Ridge (Surprise, AZ). The Stallions go into the 6A West Valley match with a 9-9 record. In their last match, Shadow Ridge nudged Tolleson (Tolleson, AZ), 4-0, in a league test.
