Georgia High School Baseball - Model loses to Kell
March 26, 2026: Marietta, GA 30066 Kell Longhorns (Marietta, GA) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they observed their baseball team beat the visiting Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA), 8-4 in a non-league game.
The Longhorns (14-8) will now prepare for their game against Westminster (Atlanta, GA). The Wildcats go into the AAAA Region 6 game with a 5-13 record. In their last game, Westminster was overwhelmed by Centennial (Roswell, GA), 9-5, in a league match.
The Blue Devils now have a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pepperell for a A D1 Region 6 match on Tuesday, March 31. Model will battle a Dragons squad coming off a 13-8 league win over Heard County (Franklin, GA). The Dragons record now stands at 14-8.
