California High School Baseball - Liberty loses to Northgate

March 26, 2026: Walnut Creek, CA 94598

Northgate Broncos (Walnut Creek, CA) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Liberty Lions (Brentwood, CA), 5-1 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Northgate advances its record to 7-2 on the season. The Broncos travel to Buhach Colony (Atwater, CA) to battle the Thunder in a non-league match on Monday, March 30. The Thunder go into the game with a record of 6-6. Buhach Colony won 8-5 in their recent league game against Golden Valley (Merced, CA)

Next, the Lions play the College Park Falcons (Pleasant Hill, CA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 28. Liberty will attempt to improve on its 8-1 season record. The Falcons go into the game with a 9-1 record after their 7-0 non-league win over Cardinal Newman (Santa Rosa, CA).
