The Fowler Redcats edged the visiting Minarets Mustangs softball squad by a count of 1-0 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Redcats play the Foothill Trojans (Bakersfield, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 28. Fowler will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Trojans come into the battle with a 0-7 record after their 15-3 non-league loss to South (Bakersfield, CA).

With the loss, Minarets moves to 7-5 on the season. The Mustangs host Sierra (Tollhouse, CA) to confront the Chieftains in a Northwest Sequoia- North battle on Tuesday, April 7. The Chieftains come into the battle with a record of 5-7. Sierra won 14-13 in their recent league battle against Caruthers (Caruthers, CA)
