The Skyview Hawks baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the host Minico Spartans to 1 in the Hawks non-league victory on Saturday.

The Hawks (6-1) will now prepare for their match against Meridian (Meridian, ID). The Warriors go into the 5A Southern Idaho match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Meridian Post Falls (Post Falls, ID), 4-4, in a non-league match.

The Spartans (4-5) will now prepare for their match against Canyon Ridge (Twin Falls, ID). The Riverhawks go into the 4A Great Basin - West match with a 7-3 record. In their last match, Canyon Ridge was overwhelmed by Ridgevue (Nampa, ID), 9-3, in a non-league match.
