In Saturday's non-league test, the host St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-7 victory over the Highland Hornets.

The Fighting Irish now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Archbishop Hoban for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 31. St. Vincent-St. Mary will face a Knights squad coming off a 16-1 non-league loss to Western Reserve Academy (Hudson, OH). The Knights record now stands at 1-4.

In their next game, the Hornets face the Keystone Wildcats (La Grange, OH) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, April 6. Highland will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
