Moon Area Tigers (Moon Township, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Chartiers Valley Colts (Bridgeville, PA), 5-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, Moon Area upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Tigers travel to Ambridge (Ambridge, PA) to battle the Bridgers in a non-league test on Thursday, March 30. The Bridgers come into the test with a record of 0-0.

With the defeat, Chartiers Valley falls to 1-1 on the season. The Colts host Thomas Jefferson (Jefferson Hills, PA) to battle the Jaguars in a test on Tuesday, April 11. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 2-1.
