Virginia High School Softball - Grant Community can't hold off Brunswick
March 27, 2023: Lawrenceville, VA 23868 The Brunswick Bulldogs softball team scored 2 runs and limited the visiting Grant Community Bulldogs to 1 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Brunswick improves its record to 1-2 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Southampton (Courtland, VA) to clash with the Indians in a Tri-Rivers game on Thursday, March 30. The Indians come into the game with a record of 3-1. Southampton lost 6-2 in their recent league game against Windsor (Windsor, VA)
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Westerville South Wildcats (Westerville, OH) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 28. Grant Community will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 0-1 record after their 13-6 non-league loss to Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL).
