Virginia High School Softball - Oakton loses to Wakefield
March 27, 2023: The Plains, VA 20198 The Wakefield Fighting Owls softball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Oakton Cougars to 5 in the Fighting Owls non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Wakefield improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Fighting Owls travel to Forest Park (Woodbridge, VA) to clash with the Bruins in a non-league game on Thursday, April 13. The Bruins come into the game with a record of 2-1.
In their next game, the Cougars clash with the South Lakes Seahawks (Reston, VA) in a Concorde game, on Tuesday, March 28. Oakton will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Seahawks come into the game with a 4-1 record after their 9-2 non-league win over Robinson (Fairfax, VA).
