March 27, 2024: Ville Platte, LA 70586 The Port Barre Red Devils baseball squad (Port Barre, LA), was overwhelmed 7-1 in Wednesday's non-league test with the host Sacred Heart Trojans (Ville Platte, LA)
With the win, Sacred Heart upgrades its record to 14-6 on the season. The Trojans host St. Edmund (Eunice, LA) to battle the Fighting Blue Jays in a 1A District 6 test on Monday, April 1. The Fighting Blue Jays come into the test with a record of 13-6.
With the defeat, Port Barre falls to 6-13 on the season. The Red devils travel to Iota (Iota, LA) to battle the Bulldogs in a 3A District 4 test on Tuesday, April 2. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 19-3.
