Illinois High School Softball - St. Anthony bounces Farina South Central
March 27, 2024: Effingham, IL 62401 Spectators at Wednesday's league match between the St. Anthony Bulldogs (Effingham, IL) and the visiting Farina South Central Cougars (Farina, IL), witnessed St. Anthony's softball squad prevail over Farina South Central by a count of 15-4.
The Bulldogs now sport a 7-0 record. They play next when they travel to Charleston for a non-league match on Wednesday, April 3.
With the loss, Farina South Central moves to 5-3 on the season. The Cougars travel to Neoga (Neoga, IL) to meet the Indians in a National Trail match on Thursday, March 28. The Indians go into the match with a record of 0-5. Neoga lost 14-4 in their recent non-league match against Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] (Kansas, IL)
