The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Briar Woods Falcons (Ashburn, VA) and the visiting Heritage Pride (Leesburg, VA), saw Briar Woods's baseball team get by Heritage by a tally of 6-5.

The Falcons (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Westfield (Chantilly, VA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Westfield held off Yorktown (Arlington, VA), 5-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Pride face the Spotswood Trailblazers (Penn Laird, VA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 29. Heritage will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Trailblazers enter the battle with a 4-0 record after their 13-1 non-league win over Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA).
