March 27, 2025: Calumet, OK 73014 The Calumet Chieftains (Calumet, OK) baseball got by the visiting Woodward Boomers (Woodward, OK), 6-5 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Chieftains now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Union City for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 1. Calumet will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Ninnekah (Ninnekah, OK). The Tigers record now stands at 13-2.
With the defeat, Woodward drops to 5-7 on the year. The Boomers travel to Weatherford (Weatherford, OK) to clash with the Eagles in a 4A District 4 challenge on Friday, March 28. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 4-7. Weatherford won 12-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Minco (Minco, OK)
