South Carolina High School Baseball - Chesnee wallops Chase
March 27, 2025: Chesnee, SC 29323 The Chesnee Eagles (Chesnee, SC) baseball trounced the visiting Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC), 13-3 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they host Blacksburg for a 2A Region 1 challenge on Friday, March 28. Chesnee will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 10-0 league loss to Chesnee (Chesnee, SC). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-11.
With the defeat, Chase drops to 5-7 on the year. The Trojans host East Rutherford (Forest City, NC) to clash with the Cavaliers in a Mountain Foothills 7 1A/2A challenge on Tuesday, April 1. The Cavaliers go into the challenge with a record of 11-0. East Rutherford won 6-3 in their recent league challenge against R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC)
