The West Valley Eagles (Cottonwood, CA) baseball trounced the visiting Corning Cardinals (Corning, CA), 16-3 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Yreka for a Northern challenge on Tuesday, April 1. West Valley will clash with a Miners team coming off a 21-7 non-league win over Phoenix (Phoenix, OR). The Miners record now stands at 5-4.
