The Hastings Tigers (Hastings, NE) baseball trounced the visiting Gretna Dragons (Gretna, NE), 12-6 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Beatrice for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 29. Hastings will clash with a Orangemen team coming off a 14-12 non-league loss to Ralston (Ralston, NE). The Orangemen record now stands at 1-3.

With the defeat, Gretna drops to 1-3 on the year. The Dragons host Lincoln Northwest (Lincoln, NE) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 29.
