The Honesdale Hornets (Honesdale, PA) baseball the host Wilkes-Barre Wolfpack (Wilkes-Barre, PA), 6-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

The Hornets now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wallenpaupack Area for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 29. Honesdale will clash with a Buckhorns team coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to Wyoming Valley West (Plymouth, PA). The Buckhorns record now stands at 0-3.

With the defeat, Wilkes-Barre drops to 3-3 on the year. The Wolfpack travel to Dallas (Dallas, PA) to clash with the Mountaineers in a Wyoming Valley 1 challenge on Tuesday, April 1. The Mountaineers go into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Dallas lost 6-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Scranton (Scranton, PA)
